Ms Twila's Focus W607 ET is a recent addition of our donor program as a partnership with C Cross Cattle, Little Windy Hills, and us. She has a daughter selling in the national sale by Little Windy Hills with a mating to Black Impact. We will be adding full sibs to our own program this coming spring. She also sired the Futurity Heifer of NAILE in 2013. She is top in the breed in many categories including calving ease, birth weight, milk, total maternal, carcass weight, and marbling.
Flying H Ms Dateline 7H was a donor for Flying H Genetics of Nebraska, JBOB of North Carolina, and then Verneer Farms of Georgia. She has over 80 calves registered and there will be at least another dozen to come from us over the next couple years. We purchased her from Adam Verneer after seeing her Eagle Eye 224Y ET son sell to C Cross. We were very impressed with her offspring and flushed her many times and we have been pleased with all the calves and her matings.
Kali 801U our own national champion in the 2010 show. She is a Freedom daughter and is phenotypical phenomenal. We have mating of her and SAV Bismarck with a heifer due to calve in the spring and a coming yearling bull in the spring as well. This past year we flushed her to Black Impact for purebred offspring, and for Balancers we used Angus bulls Ten X and PVF Insight. The mating were crowd pleasing at the recent NAILE sale in Louisville with two lots of six embryos bringing $3200 a piece and very excited buyers. Loads of eye appeal and her new mating leave us very excited about her future.
Ms Kara ET is proof in the quality and longevity she was a recent addition and at age of 16 years we knew many would shake their heads. She has been an institution for J&K Gelbvieh Farms with over 110 calves, her greatest offspring was Trendsetter 55 a sire that many years was a top 5 used sire in the Gelbvieh breed. Kara has been flushed with fall calves in 2016 coming to mating of her and RB Tour of Duty and Black Impact with these future calves to be the next A.I. sires and donors.
JBOB 5498P also referred to, as Lulu is a recent addition. We have flushed her to many combinations. The picture above show the phenotype she can stamp on a daughter the 2014 North American Champion. She also produced a Black Impact son Butler’s Impact 549U that went on to being the Clinch Mountain Dispersal Sale topper at $14,250 we were the second high builder at $14,000. 549U went on to sire the 2016 Purebred National Champion in Denver.
